Booking Wizard
„No available slots are displayed"
Possible causes:
- Employees at Amparex are not authorized to book appointments online.
In Employee Resources, verify that „Bookable online" or similar is selected
is. - Location resources are not linked correctly. If appointment templates have a

„The calendar doesn't jump to the first available week"
Since version 2.0.0 The plugin includes an auto-jump feature that, when empty,
automatically jumps from the current week to the first week with available slots –
both with and without a preferred counselor. If that doesn't happen:
- Check whether the installed version is at least
2.0.0is. - Clear the cache.
- Using debug mode (see Clear Cache and Diagnostics) use the Freebusy tester.
„When I submit, I get a 404 error / blank page"
Typically occurs when the security check (nonce)
has expired—for example, if the wizard was left open for a very long time.
- Reload the page and start the booking process over.
- If the issue can be reproduced: please send the browser console log to the
Support report.
„The title field cannot be skipped"
The "Title" field is required (Version 1.2.0+). If not selected,
you'll see an error message. In this case, earlier versions would have redirected
accidentally landing on a 404 page—that's been the case since 1.5.2 Fixed.
Emails
„Confirmation emails aren't arriving"
WP2Amparex uses WordPress's own wp_mail-function. When others
If emails from your site aren't arriving either, it's not the plugin's fault.
Recommended check:
- Plugin „WP Mail Logging" Install and check whether the email
was actually shipped. - If so, but the email doesn't arrive: WordPress SMTP via
WP Mail SMTP,
FluentSMTPor set up a similar plugin.
„Admin email is being sent to the wrong address" / „Several people are receiving the email"
How Admin Notifications Work in Detail (Source:
includes/services/class-email-service.php):

In other words: Branch emails from Amparex and plugin emails from WP2Amparex-
Settings are parallel notified—not „one wins.".
If you want to notify only one address, leave the other one blank.
The WordPress admin email has been sent since version 1.0.4 only as a pure
A workaround used when neither the branch email nor any additional
are stored in the plugin's email settings.
License and updates
„The license box is yellow/orange."
Status „Unverified" or „Not activated." Solution:
- WP2Amparex → License & Updates open
- Have your key registered at Activate the license click
If that doesn't work, check the status message below (the text reads as
„Invalid," „Site not activated," „No activations available").
„Updates aren't coming through"
Order of diagnosis:
- License status: Must be „Active.".
- WP2Amparex → License & Updates Open and go to
Check for plugin updates now Click. - Are WordPress updates enabled? Dashboard → Updates – Manually „Check for updates.".
- Clear caches (object cache, FastCGI cache, CDN) – some aggressive
Cache configurations also freeze the WordPress plugin update transient. - If nothing else works: Clear the WP2Amparex cache (see Clear Cache and Diagnostics).
The "Check for Updates" button only clears the plugin update cache. It does not change
No Amparex data and no license.
„Am I still on Freemius?"

The license section explicitly displays the current update channel.
Design / Front-End Style
„Buttons / Links look strange"
WP2Amparex overrides theme styles only, if in the plugin settings
In the „Design" tab, the checkbox „Should theme styles be overridden?"
is set (Behavior since 1.0.5).
If the plugin buttons don't match your theme: Uncheck the box,
Theme buttons inherit the layout.

„Touch controls on smartphones don't work well"
