Paste ChatGPT text into Gmail or Outlook without Markdown symbols

You copy an answer from ChatGPT into an email and suddenly see **asterisks**, ## hash signs or links written as [text](address). Your email app isn't broken. The answer is written in Markdown, a simple way to mark headings, lists, emphasis, and links.

The quickest way to access Gmail and Outlook

When you copy a visibly formatted answer, Gmail or Outlook will often preserve the formatting. Your app may also offer paste options, such as keeping or merging the original formatting.
