A digital space for memorial candles
Visitors can light a virtual candle on the WordPress website and add a personal message. The candles remain active for 72 hours, and during that time, their appearance gradually changes as they "burn.".
Forms and Outputs via Shortcode
- Light a candle and save a personal message.
- Share a candle with others via email.
- Display active candles as a responsive grid.
- Display in chapel mode as a continuous display on large screens.
The plugin works independently without Contact Form 7 or Advanced Custom Fields. A dedicated content type manages the candles; a hourly schedule removes expired entries. Privacy and consent notices are integrated into the forms but must be tailored to the specific website and its overall system.
