# TOPmodel by Depesche

An incredible amount of attention to detail, time and know-how went into this web project. For Depesche Vertrieb GmbH & Co. KG (remember the Diddl mouse in the 90s?) a comprehensive web portal for TOPModel by Depesche.



With the design templates from PAHL / Creative Content and sweet illustrations from the graphic designers at Depesche and last but not least the TOPModel fans (under Your artwork), the portal went live as a WordPress multisite with custom plugins and several functions (including multilingualism).



Not only in Germany, but also for England (UK), France, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands. The Russian and Ukrainian versions also went live in July 2020.



I programmed a customized Divi Child Theme for this project, because this customer project also needed a page builder on board. I decided to implement the multilingualism via a multisite construct, because on the one hand this solution is very performant and on the other hand the WordPress admin area is wonderfully separable for each of the national and international TOPModel editorial offices.



I continue to maintain the portal on a regular basis and have created an ideas plan that includes many more feature implementations.



Tasks



 Implementation of a total of 56 Adobe XD screens (page layouts) Theme structure “Divi Theme by Elegant Themes” HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript Responsive web design - adapts to the screen size and enables optimal display on smartphones, for example Integration of the MultilingualPress plugin from Inpsyde Custom plugins for various functionalities and contents of the portal Concept support Own server setup
